The reason for this dash-cam obsession is that Russian roads are notoriously dangerous, and the insurance companies have a habit of not paying. In order to prove innocence and therefore recieve their insurance payout, Russian citizens have taken to driving around with cameras on their dashboards.
The result is hours and hours of amazing YouTube footage of car crashes, 6ft5 body guards punching each other and of course, the infamous Black Devil.
