Here is a video where it seems Ferrari have fitted a turbocharger to their entry model California.
In the 65 years or so that Ferrari has been producing road cars it has only made 2 turbocharged cars: The 288 GTO and the legendary F40.
In the last few years the European Union has been clamping down on CO2 emissions from motor manufacturers. This has resulted in most of the sports car manufacturers having to fit turbochargers to their cars to get more power out of smaller engines which produce less CO2.
Ferrari seen to be suffering from this now. The footage below is of a California on Fiorano, Ferraris private test track and it sounds like it is fitted with a turbo charger.
Either Ferrari are developing a turbocharged California, or this is a prototype for the engine they are building for Maserati.
