There’s two little design easter eggs you might miss on the new SRT Viper if you don’t look carefully — maps of two famous racetracks that have been lovingly tattooed like a tramp stamp onto the new 475 KW supercar.
The first tribute you’ll see is etched lovingly into the plastic on the door pull above the window switch. This little easter egg is a map of the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife track — a track where SRT engineers hope they’ll be able to beat the last generation’s stellar laptime (7:12:13 in the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR, 7:59:00 in the Dodge Viper SRT-10) on.
The second etching is located over transmission tunnel in the cupholder. That tattoo is of Laguna Seca — the Monterey, California track where the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR set the lap record of 1:33.944 back in 2009.
