So a few weeks back I showed you Gauteng Flying Squads new cars, some brand spanking new S3 Sportbacks. Then Mercedes have their AMG SLS as the F1 safety car and Italy had their Gallardo.Now, Audi has joined the party.
Above is an R8 V10, to be used as a safety car at this weekends Le Mans race. No words on specs, but probably tuned a bit to keep those Le Mans beasts up to pace.
Mercedes-Benz has dropped a set of development shots of the new drop-top roadster version of the uber-awesome SLS AMG. These shots should surprise nobody as we’ve been seeing the SLS AMG roadster testing on the streets — and even in commercials since before the Superbowl!
AMG’s new, 5.5-liter bi-turbocharged V8 impressed us in the CLS63, even if it didn’t snarl like the old 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated blaster. Today, the turbo trickled into the midfield, showing up in the E-Class. Better economy, too, for more greenness. Continue reading
