BMW global recently unleashed the 1 Series Coupe’s final hoorah, the 1 Series M Coupe. Yes, 250kW in a 1 Series. Now, there are reasons that Clarkson pointed out in this weeks Top Gear it is fantastic. And here is why its better than the supercar slaying M3.
We all know the M3 is one of the best cars around. At the CAR Magazine shootout last year, the M3 Frozen (Which only has 25kW more than standard) made the Corvette Z06 and Merc SLS look prehistoric. Cars You Hear Before You See
So our VIP, Dave, was joining in the Twitter convo earlier of which cars you hear before you see them. Now some of the cars mentioned by people were… terrible frankly. The requirement for me to put a car on the list is it must sound nice and must be road legal. Racing cars don’t count. Yes, you read right. Ok, fine, not the most accurate headline ever. But it was voted by Germanys ‘auto, motor und sport’ magazine as the best sports car of 2011. I do agree.
