Mercedes-Benz has dropped a set of development shots of the new drop-top roadster version of the uber-awesome SLS AMG. These shots should surprise nobody as we’ve been seeing the SLS AMG roadster testing on the streets — and even in commercials since before the Superbowl!

It has been quiet on the news front these days regarding the upcoming roadster version of the Ferrari 458 Italia. That does not mean artists at Teamspeed have forgotten about the anticipated new addition to the Ferrari line-up.
Known facts are that the 458 “GTS” will have a retractable lightweight hardtop and the power should remain exactly the same as the coupe. Expect the GTS somewhere around 2012 to be introduced as a 2013 model.

While European Union bureaucrats took the liberty of publishing the trademark views of the 2012 Mercedes SLK, just a month after Mercedes gave us a glimpse, Jalopnik caught the real deal enjoying the Highway 1 views. Gotta say, it is a sexy thing. Very mini-SLS.
The filings offer a blurry but complete view of the new roadster, including with its retractable hard top stowed. The final deal will likely not arrive until the Geneva show in March.
